In Housing, Dritan Hyska photographs residential structures that emerged across Albania during a period of rapid social and economic transformation. Scattered along highways and across open landscapes, these often unfinished buildings reflect changing aspirations, migration, and evolving ideas of domestic life.
Through a restrained black-and-white aesthetic and serial observation, Hyska transforms these structures into fragments of a changing landscape. Concrete columns, exposed floors, and unfinished facades become accidental monuments to a society suspended between its present conditions and its imagined future.
