SALT explores the female body and experience through memorial representations of magic realism. Landscapes of femininity reaching the sea’s surface to breathe, floating on now while taking space for tomorrow. Glimpses of trauma appear in the shadows of the existing environment. A memorial view of past self representations and present social constructs and a safe space created in the loop of tears lost in the perpetual movement of the sea.
